Technological Licenses

In some specific cases, Nervion may grant a license related to specific medical indications under certain terms. Nervion may license indications that are unrelated to the primary business and technical objectives of the company.

New therapeutic concepts are being pursued by emerging companies without the infrastructure to execute their ideas rapidly. Nervion Universal Stimulation System is application flexible to adapt to new modes of treatments. In certain cases, an emerging company may have IP for a new indication but may not have the IPG technology. Such companies could become our customers under certain license agreements.

Nervion’s Universal Stimulation System is low power micro controller based. This technology approach allows for a wide range of indications by changing the software to fit specific therapy requirements. The hardware remains virtually unchanged. Time to market for a new application is about 25% of a new product development.
