Nervion has a patent portfolio of five (5) granted United States patents related to implantable electrical neurostimulation as summarized below. Some of these patents also have European and Canadian coverage which will allow Nervion to create a line of advanced implantable neurostimulators with a comfortable level of technology protection. Additional patents will be prosecuted as required to expand the intellectual property portfolio. The patent portfolio gives emphasis to lithium ion rechargeable battery systems, which are anticipated to become a large part of the future electrical neurostimulation market for various indications.
